Osteopathy is all about restoring movement and function.

With osteopathic treatment it is possible to optimize the entire body structure function encouraging freedom from pain and a feeling of being centered within the body.

Osteopathy is recognized by the British Medical Association as a successful treatment and gained Primary Healthcare Status in 1993. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence to the NHS recommend and widely use osteopathy for the successful treatment of low back pain.

I have been a regular client of Andrew's for the past two years, receiving both deep tissue sports massage and osteopathic treatment. Andrew is a highly skilled practitioner, who has a broad range of therapeutic techniques at his disposal. In all our treatment sessions, he has been able to identify and treat specific problem areas, offering an individualised and highly effective treatment.

Part of my work involves wearing heavy lead coats which protect from X-rays during operations. A full day's work wearing these lead coats has often caused me lower back pain. I have been seeing Andrew on and off over the last two years. He has always been able to help with acute episodes and has also taught me exercises to improve my posture and 'core stability' to help prevent further harm.

osteopathy for computer users repetitive strain injury in central london
As a journalist working in central London I spend a lot of time at the computer. I had been suffering from lower arm pain which Andrew diagnosed as a repetitive strain injury. He treated me with a course of trigger point acupuncture as part of the osteopathic treatment. After only a couple of sessions, I noticed the pain was much reduced. He gave simple advice to improve my workstation position and I have now been pain free for several months!
